CATON TAXPAYERS
2026 Town & County Tax Bills are payable at the Caton Town Hall through March 31st, 2026. After that date they are only payable at the Steuben County Finance Department in Bath, NY. For more information please call the Finance Department at: 607-664-2488.
Need a copy of a Town & County tax bill? You can go back as far as 2007 on the "PAY TAXES" link above to view and print a copy.
Caton Town Clerks Office
Credit/Debit card and E-check now accepted to pay for dog licenses, hunting licenses, marriage licenses, building permits & for any purchase made in the Town Clerk's Office.
E-check surcharge is $2.50. Credit card surcharge for any item purchased is 2.75% added to the card.
As always, you can still pay in person by check or in cash with no service fee.

2026 Caton Grievance Day-June 02 2026
The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Tuesday, June 02, 2026 to hear assessment grievance from 4PM-8PM
at the Caton Town Hall. If you would like to file a grievance please make a appointment with the Caton Assessor

The 2026 Tentative Tax Roll is available in the Town Clerk's Office during regular office hours.
CATON PARK
The Caton Park is now open. The fee for reserving a pavilion at the park is now $45.00. The Town thanks the volunteers who took time and did a lot of work to get the Park cleaned up and ready to be open for 2026. Thank you to all!
MONTHLY SENIOR CITIZEN LUNCHEON MEETING
Caton Senior Ctizens are welcome to attend the next Senior Citizen monthly Luncheon Meeting on Tuesday, June 9th, 12 noon at the Caton Park. Bring a dish to pass and some friends too! Enjoy!!
